This is very much a personal view of Thailand by the author of this website - a frequent visitor to the country. As such I must say that articles are written on the basis of my experiences and cover only those aspects of the country which I feel competent to write about, and which I feel most deserve to be made known to a wider public. Think of it more as a magazine of selected photoessays rather than as a comprehensive guide book to all things Thai. My aim is to help the tourist who visits to get the most out of their time here, whether it be three days in passing, a three week vacation, or three months as a backpacker touring the whole nation. It covers some of the major attractions, glimpses of life in the cities and the countryside, and anything else which appeals to me or which I think you, the reader, may find useful. Take a look at the various articles I have written, and if any of them take your fancy, please read. I sincerely hope that if you are planning a trip to the self-styled 'Land of Smiles', then at least one or two of these articles will give you useful advice or ideas on day trip excursions and other experiences which will enhance your stay in the country.

All essays are liberally spiced with my own photos of Thailand, and more pages will be added as and when I have sufficient material (photos and personal experiences) to do so. Thank you.
